We’ve owned a holiday home in Sardinia for a number of years.
We love visiting it (and so too do all the holidaymakers who stay there) but we’ve found that owning a holiday home has resulted in us not holidaying anywhere else ourselves.
It wasn’t always like this. We used to travel here, there and everywhere, but because we now had a holiday home, we felt obliged to holiday there.
Travel broadens the mind, they say, but it wasn’t broadening ours. So  was born!
Through talking to other holiday home owners over the years we found that we were not alone.
It seems holiday home owners routinely holiday in the same place year after year.
Many of them would love to exchange with other holiday home owners in other countries. . .
but on their terms!
- They want to be in control of the exchange process.
- They want to choose when they make their holiday home available for potential exchanges and they want a large choice of holiday homes to select from when it comes to deciding on their exchange.
- They also want the holiday homes to be community monitored so that they’re reassured that a description of a holiday home is trustworthy.
So do we.
That’s why was created - so that the holiday home owner, controls their holiday home exchange.
